What makes Nokia stand out as an organization for me personally is definitely people that work here and their attitude.
I think Nokia is great at creating an environment where employees are eager to support each other and achieve results as a group - not as individuals. Achievement and mutual respect are two of our core values and one can clearly notice that in everyday work. Be it respecting ideas from newcomers or respecting the experience of those who have been with the company for a while - everything is always listened to and considered. And the focus is always on how we as a group can learn, improve and achieve more.
When I first joined Nokia I moved from finance and management consulting into IT role. That was a big leap into the unknown for me and I was concerned about how it would go. However, my manager and colleagues quickly let me understand that I don't have to figure everything on my own. Instead, a team effort is always more effective and valuable.

For me, it’s the people and the opportunities for development. It’s the people that create the energy in the company â they keep me motivated and challenge me to think about things in new and different ways.
There are always plenty of new opportunities available if you’re willing to grab hold of them; whether that’s in your existing field of expertise, or in a new area you’re interested in. I’ve always felt encouraged and supported to get involved in new projects or cross-functional collaborations, and in turn have had the opportunity to meet new colleagues in the business, gain experience and develop new skills for the future.
That’s what makes Nokia stand out for me!

Shortly: definitely the #teamnokia
But in my view Nokia stands out due to three core strengths: relentless innovation powered by our intellectual property, our unique cultural resilience that allows us to adapt to massive changes, and our comprehensive end-to-end portfolio of networking solutions.

Hi and thanks for the question!
I would like to share my view from the perspective of my team, and not so much from the perspective of the whole of Nokia. We stand out from the rest in terms of innovation. Our product started from scratch in 2017 and is now the market leader. And all this is just a result of innovation, co-operation and hard work. Go Team Nokia! 🙂

all insightful responses above, thanks all.
For me, Nokia differentiates in various ways and that is why we are thriving even after 159 years. The first is definitely innovation speed and R&D capabilities. We have superior products, outstanding delivery and execution supported through highly skilled subject-matter-experts. We are highly invested in all current and future technologies like 6G, AI, Datacenters, Cloud and Quantum security. We have strong relationships with suppliers, developers, and technology partners to ensure customer success. We are highly competitive with regards to our costs and offers. Our global presence is another key advantage for sales and regular service & operations.
Customers are at the heart of everything that we do. On the softer side, we have strong customer relationship based on trust and high integrity. Our culture and values ensure that we hire and retain the best talents.
I hope this answers. Welcome to Nokia.
