Hi Adam,

As an R&D Product Owner, I once led a project that faced major technical challenges and tight deadlines.
What changed my view of teamwork was seeing how people stepped up — supporting each other, sharing knowledge, and finding creative solutions under pressure.
It showed me that the strongest teams are built on trust and openness, not just expertise.

Hi,

Before coming to Nokia I worked as a teacher, what is much more a "one-man-show" like team work. Of course you need to cooperate with colleagues and the students as well, but all in all this is not a job what needs to work in team in the classical meaning. So when I joined Nokia it was a totally different way of working from the very beginning, it was and it is quite fascinating that every person gives his/her best to make the whole team succeed. I can not name a moment or a project when "it just happened", it was quite natural behaviour from the very beginning. I was socialized so that I can turn to every expert or team mate with my professional questions -- sometimes with personal problems as well.

Wish you good luck!

There have been several moments at Nokia that reshaped how I understand teamwork, but a few stand out deeply.
When I lost my mother, and later when I underwent major surgery, my team didn’t just step in — they carried my responsibilities with 200% ownership, without ever making me feel the pressure. Their support gave me strength when I needed it most. And in high-stakes situations: complicated deals, stringent timelines — the same team stood beside me, offering wholehearted support until the finish line.
These experiences proved one thing: Nokia’s culture is built on ‘We’, not ‘Me’.

Hi,
There have been several moments at Nokia that showed me how powerful teamwork really is. Whenever a project went off track or something unexpected happened, my team always stepped up — supporting each other, celebrating wins, and filling in when someone needed help.

One moment that truly changed how I think about teamwork was during a recent large-scale migration. Everyone was learning new tools, dealing with setbacks, and facing new challenges every day. Despite the pressure, we always made time to support one another and share what we had learned.

Seeing how quickly we adapted — and how much stronger we were together — showed me that teamwork isn’t just about dividing tasks. It’s about lifting each other up so we can all succeed. It made the work better, faster, and much more motivating.

An example of great teamwork for me was when I was writing my bachelor's thesis during an internship as part of my dual studies at Nokia. The support I got from my colleagues was amazing. They took the time to explain topics clearly and helped me to design and critically reflect on my content. This support enabled me to deliver a great bachelor's thesis!
