Hi there Anonymous,

The value of Nokia certification depends on the specific role and its requirements. Each of our job descriptions outlines the necessary qualifications, and if Nokia certification is considered a beneficial addition, it will be mentioned in the job profile. I hope this clarifies things!

This question can have a very subjective response, let me try. I will first talk about a few growth paths during a career journey. One could keep progressing as an individual contributor in a particular domain successfully (like Design and development) with the relevant subject matter expertise. Nokia provides this opportunity with growing experience, seniority and provided value. There is no pressure to move to a managerial role. Some experts would not like to become a people manager but keep growing as an individual contributor.

If someone is interested in leading a team, that possibility to grow is also available in our company. While relevant experience always helps to guide and mentor the team as a manager, there are other important attributes too, that are necessary. This includes active listening, developing leadership skills, empathy, communication skills, encouraging creativity and innovation, empowerment, ensuring the right values, culture, safe environment and more.

I hope this helps. I wish you the best.
