Thanks for the very relevant question. Indeed, thanks to AI assistants and agents, more and more tasks could get delegated to those. In that context, soft skills may be seen as more relevant than hard skills. My point is that, even if soft skills like storytelling, active listening, empathy, adaptability,… are very important, being deep in expertise on some domain-specific topics (e.g. PHY-layer, QoS, IP-routing,…) make you even more relevant and allow to benefit from both human+AI, providing a win-win combination.
