what skills should I develop to contribute in 5G&ORAN ecosystem development, also possible path to move in this domain?

ORAN is an interoperability standard based on RAN, therefore, skills for both will be similar, and as such the contribution would come from the new standards knowledge (based on 3GPP specification which is the backbone of the whole system) and how they affect the RAN as a whole.

Of course, good RAN knowledge is a base to start (network architecture, message flow, feature development testing, and verification).

There are many possibilities in this domain starting from software development, implementation end testing.
