Yes, 5G is coming, NOKIA could offer amazing user experience of 5G service, for example cloud VR service is enabled by combining the power of 5G, Edge Computing, deep learning AI /ML etc. 5G brings big change for the world.

Great question, as you may be aware Nokia is a technology leader in Cloud and we have multiple cloud solutions across the Nokia portfolio. Similarly, automation and machine learning play a critical role to make it further advanced. Let me share a few examples.
Our complete cloud-native architecture incorporates containers in a microservices architecture, with DevOps automation and open APIs which can be deployed according to customer needs on any Bare Metal, public, edge, or private clouds. Nokia 5G Core’s cloud-native architecture can be deployed on public cloud and hybrid cloud. Our cloud-native architecture is deployed on Nokia Container Services, RedHat OpenShift, and VMware Tanzu, plus Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.
5G Cloud RAN (Virtualized Radio Access Network vRAN) helps physical industries embrace the benefits of digitalization. Cloud RAN introduces an architectural evolution to Radio Access Networks. Moving the Broadband networks to SDN (software-defined access networks) and cloud is another example that helps to solve multi-technology, multi-vendor issues as well as boost competitiveness with new levels of operational efficiency and agility.
The convergence of analytics, AI, automation, public cloud, and software-as-a-service can turn network data into a powerful business enabler – driving improved performance, greater productivity, and a superior customer experience. The Nokia AVA Telco AI Ecosystem provides artificial intelligence solutions that can be delivered through the cloud (private or public). The solutions enable telcos to automate network operations and service assurance, cut costs, increase agility and boost subscriber experience.
Some other examples of Automation include Edge Automation (Simplifying edge infrastructure management by automating hardware and virtual infrastructure), Automated network slicing, and managing 5G operations through Machine learning. Hope the above examples demonstrate how Machine Learning and Cloud technologies are driving Nokia to scale new heights.
