How are strategy projects at Nokia managed and executed and how fast is the learning cycle for new technology?
Additional information
Thank you for the response in advance, I just want to get a feel of how Nokia executes projects given your scope and size of operations, and with how fast tech like 5G and connectivity is evolving, how does Nokia ensure its people keep up

Very interesting question, thanks a lot.
We have a continuous learning culture at Nokia. Every employee is encouraged to be updated on the various, latest technologies. We also have mandatory set of trainings and yearly Competence development targets for technical trainings. Even the sales and customer facing teams have a good understanding of the technology and portfolio. For our Services, Technical support and Care team, the trainings are very specialized and it already commences when a new product/technology is introduced. It also includes on-site and hands-on learning to meet full expectations. So, learning cycle for new technology is quite fast.
Strategy projects are treated as a part of NPI (New product introduction) and we have the best, dedicated team across roles to ensure a successful implementation. R&D, Product line, on-site teams are all strongly engaged to ensure right deployment and customer satisfaction. As an example, Nokia implemented first 5G Standalone Core in the public cloud with AWS for US operator (DISH). This is a highly visible, commercial proof-point as both Dish and AWS are disruptive players in the telecom market. Once the first projects are successful, we proceed with more wider deployment across global locations smoothly.
Hope this helps. My best wishes, always.
