Hi Nagasai,
Thank you for your question! It is indeed a really good question.
Despite my current area of action not being exactly Data Science or AI, I would say that it is crucial to have a good and solid basis in data structures and algorithms to be able to perform well in any programming language which will be much required in an internship in those two areas of action.
This way, I would say that it is a great start to invest in this area to start your path as an intern at Nokia.
