Hi Sri S. Thank you for asking this very important question.
Nokia is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusive work environments. I have observed that diversity, fairness, integrity, equality, respect, and honesty for and from all employees are important at Nokia. Nokia champions numerous internal programs and organizations that support the specific needs of its minority employees and help Nokia’s efforts to build and maintain more equal and inclusive work environments. Nokia employees affiliated with these internal groups are encouraged to actively support the recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring of prospective and new Nokia employees. Examples include the ABLE (Advancing Black Leadership and Excellence) organization’s participation in webinars and “live chat” sessions focusing on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) students attending HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities). The Nokia internal minority employee organizations include StrongHer US Women’s Leadership Network, HISPA (Hispanic Association of Nokia Employees), ABLE, IDEAL (Individuals Dedicated to Enabling Accessibility in Life), 4A (Asian/Pacific American Association for Advancement), EQUAL! (supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer employees and their friends and family), LUNA (United Native Americans of Nokia), and VALOR (supporting U.S. military veterans and those currently serving).
