While some roles benefit from industry-specific experience, Nokia is definitely open to people coming from different industries if they bring relevant skills and experience.
In fact, I joined Nokia myself from the management consulting industry rather than telecommunications, so I know firsthand that career transitions into the industry are possible. What often matters most is the value you can bring, your ability to learn, and how well your experience aligns with the role.
