Your daily activities will vary according to your role and your expertise. It´s different when you are on a sales team, that working on legal, finance or HR. Even technical teams have different activities of course, and inside HR we have teams who support different areas and topics.
A typical day for me starts with several calls to discuss current topics or ongoing projects. We review the status, propose new ideas and prepare material for our teams and stakeholders. While working in Nokia, I have had the chance to connect with people located in different countries, and roles. Personally, I really enjoy this, as it is a great opportunity to learn and develop new skills. I also take some time to do research on new trends and from time to time, I invest a couple of hours on training myself on topics I find interesting, like project management.

Source To Pay Project Development Team Lead
Hi Cristian,
I lead the team that implements enhancements to our ERP environment on a global scale. On any given day there are 10-20 projects ongoing at the moment, so the schedule tends to change a lot depending on the projects' progress.
My typical workday usually starts with a quick email check to see if there have been any issues in project delivery (in build, test or deployment phases) or ERP system availability that requires immediate attention. If there were, I address those with priority by meeting with respective colleagues and agreeing on mitigation actions.
For me personally morning is the most productive period and the time when I feel most creative. So, I try to use it as much as possible to work on strategic & team-related topics. It can be analyzing the data and coming up with process improvement actions. It can be networking with colleagues to discuss potential new projects. And so on.
Typically, we have a form of a team/status meeting with various stakeholders around lunchtime (European time) every day to ensure that as many people around the world can join and participate. After that and the lunch, I use the second half of the day to communicate and follow up with projects on their progress and discuss any risks or deviations from plans, as well as to work on various managerial/reporting/etc. documentation.

Lead Counsel - Procurement Legal COE
I am a lawyer at Nokia. I support business partners globally. As a lawyer, there is no typical day. Each day brings new legal questions and challenges. I attend calls with the business partners and conduct research on their legal issues. I spend hours reading and analysing contract terms and conditions and providing legal opinions. I negotiate major contracts that support business deals. Every day is interesting and challenging as my practice requires me to know laws of many countries.

Hi,
Here is a typical day of a software development engineer.
I start my working day quite early, which allows me to use the late afternoon hours for hobbies and sports. Initially, I check my calendar to see what meetings I have scheduled for the day. This helps me plan my activities; sometimes I need to prepare for a work meeting, while in other cases, I'm just an audience member. Then, I check my emails, responding to those I can answer immediately and marking others for further handling. Afterward, I turn to my actual tasks. I work for a maintenance team, so typically I handle tickets coming from either customers or colleagues, correct software bugs, manage documentation-related tasks, and perform all the administration needed to fulfill these duties. Consequently, I spend my working hours mainly on project activities and attending meetings. Occasionally, I have some time for training, which is also part of my activities. At the end of the day, it's a good practice to document all these tasks.
I hope you find my answer useful!
Best regards!
