Thank you for the excellent question.
There are various steps to ensure no place for rumors. The leadership guarantees transparent and regular communication. We also ensure a common vision through regular engagement across the team colleagues based on trust and integrity. This creates a âone team’ spirit. We work to create a culture that is inclusive, diverse, and empowering. The guiding principles for our ways of working are our essentials: being open, fearless, and empowered. We all try to live these essentials and practice them regularly. Our CEO strongly endorses psychological safety for all and colleagues are encouraged to speak up with ideas, questions, concerns, or mistakes. Every opinion is valued and all employees are respected. Every good (or not so good) news is shared transparently, understood properly, and accepted as a reality. All the above make communication open and generate trust. Happy to explain further if necessary.

Yes, in my experience, there is very open communication and a strong sense of trust among employees at Nokia. People are supportive, approachable, and genuinely willing to help each other, which creates a positive and collaborative working environment. Of course, like in any large organization, there are areas of decision-making at senior management levels that we don’t always see up close, but as @Dharmendra S. mentioned, they always ensure transparent and regular communication, aiming for a common vision and goal. Also, within teams and among colleagues, the transparency and trust are very good, and that makes day-to-day work both effective and enjoyable.

Hi Katja,
Dharmendra already summarized it quite well. This topic is especially relevant as a junior engineer, as you need this kind of trust and open communication, especially in the beginning, to be able to perform well. I could ask questions freely and get the help I needed, which was really valuable. Furthermore, it helped me to get to know all the important stakeholders and understand their priorities to know my job better.
All the best!
