If you are seeking a career that will be memorable and impactful, sometimes you may need to step outside of your comfort zone and take a leap into unknown waters. I took the leap twice - once when changing my role function (from accounting to recruiting), and secondly, industry-wise when joining Nokia. I did not regret either of those decisions and I feel this is where I belong. Don't be afraid to pursue your passion, with dedication and consistency your career aspirations can become a reality.

What do you like about your job and the company?
The success of an organization is purely dependent on its people - and that is where I have the opportunity to make a significant impact twofold. Firstly, it is truly rewarding to be able to contribute to an individual's career journey and future. Not only that, but every new Nokian also creates a new footprint for the growth and success of the organization.
Greatest achievements
When thinking about my achievements, it was hard to decide on one specific moment, because as a Talent Acquisition Partner, you create so much impact in so many different ways. My great achievement was to create an imprint on the many fundamental layers of Talent Acquisition in Nokia - whether it was identifying talent, employer branding, candidate experience, change management, or career search support to name a few. Contributing to the advancement of Nokia's Talent Acquisition has been a key highlight of my career.

Play the long game and focus on continuous growth. Step outside your comfort zone, take on new challenges, and learn from every role. Find synergies between what you do and where you want to go. Seek mentors and coaches who can guide your development, and remember that leadership is not about title but about helping others grow. Stay curious, adaptable, and focused on meaningful impact.

I learned with my own personal experience, that we only know better our own culture, education, bias, and our own self, when we have lived at least few years in a different country and different culture (especially amongst locals).
These (many years living in different countries and cultures) have expanded my horizon and my own identity, both professionally and especially personally. There is an emotional cost of "expatriating" oneself, but it is also truly a gift.
There are many things that we cannot fully comprehend with only short visit, books or else, they have to be experienced over and over.

I heard so many times about the importance of continuous improvement and learning 'till the grave. Sometimes you feel this is just a mandatory sentence what HR representatives always say, but to be honest that's very true. You need to learn something new every day because this area grows so fast.
