Fabiano F. asked a question to András L.
I hope you're doing well. I was referred by the Nokia recruiting team through the "Ask a Question" feature to connect with current employees about the Junior Software Developer position in the Space Networks (NTN) division. I have already submitted my application for this role and I'm really excited about the opportunity to work on the innovative NTN project with AST SpaceMobile for direct-to-cell 5G satellite communication. As a Junior Applied R&D Engineer in the team, I would greatly appreciate any insights you can share. Would you be open to answering a few quick questions? What does a typical day or week look like for a junior developer in the NTN team? Which technologies (Python, Go/Golang, C++, etc.) are you using most in the RAN/Cloud/Core development? How much hands-on prototyping and automation work does a junior developer usually do? What advice would you give to someone applying for this Junior Software Developer role? Thank you so much for your time — I really appreciate any feedback you can provide! Best regards, Fabiano Henrique Ferreira
Hi,
Thanks for your questions. Unfortunately I can not tell you anything special about a typical workday or week in NTN team, because I am working on a completely different area, 3G Core.
So instead of writing you some very general sentences I recommend you to direct your question to a wider group of insiders, most probably you will get some valuable answers.
Best regards,
LA
