    thanks for your question.

    Not every department offers Graduate Apprenticeship trainee role, if you mean it like an internship role which is required to complete a professional degree.

    However, if one is selected for a short-term internship, the scope of work is according to the duration and skills. As an example, an intern in automation team would help in supporting a short-term software project. This would help the candidate in constant learning and testing her skills in a real-life environment, while helping the company to meet a project completion.

    If you meant the first year hiring after college graduation, the roles and responsibilities would include developing relevant knowledge, utilizing and enhancing the skills, understanding the work environment and culture, learning in shadow mode and test environment, and finally contributing to real world projects.
