How is AI being integrated into Digital Twin systems within autonomous networks at Nokia?

Kruti J. asked a question to Nicolas D.

I have recently applied for the Trainee, Digital Twin role at Nokia, and I am trying to understand how this domain is evolving in real industrial systems. From my academic and project experience in computer science, I have worked on IoT data processing, multi-sensor fusion, robotics navigation, and AR/VR-based simulations. This has given me an interest in how real-world systems can be modeled, simulated, and improved using data-driven approaches. I would appreciate your perspective on how AI techniques such as machine learning, predictive modelling, and autonomous decision-making are currently being applied in Digital Twin systems at scale, and what areas are becoming most important for future development in this field.

Hi! Thanks for your question. There are indeed several intiatives where Digital Twin and AI/ML systems works toghether in the context of Autonomous Networks. I suggest you to have a look at our public content (presentation, published papers) to check how we are leveraging these two assets in these context. Thanks.
