Luz S. asked a question to Gabriela V.
Hi Gabriela :) I’m interested in finding out more about this topic, because sometimes you can start out in one area and then move on to another, and that really interests me, as my background (digital communication) is my strong point, but I’d like to explore new avenues. In addition to the initial question, Is Nokia a good place to develop professionally? Thanks!
Hello Luz!
In my case, it was a very natural process. While in recruitment, my manager started to include me in ramp-ups and overall management of some projects, which sparked my interest in Project Management. So I asked and started to get more involved in these activities and started to look for internal opportunities in this direction. During the next year, I was working with Customer Delivery projects, but once the role started to become too technical, I started to look for another adventure where I could also explore my people experience. And now I'm working in project management, but in the training/competence area.
Regarding your other question, I truly believe Nokia is a good place to develop. It's a world. It can be overwhelming, but it's an amazing school. Our internal job market is full of opportunities that allow you to tailor your experience.
