Sachin P. asked a question to Casey C.
Hello Sachin P.,
Thanks for the question - glad you've already applied!
I've started my career here in Nokia as a testing/QA engineer, so this is close to my own path. For STLC, in my humble opinion, learn how testing fits from specification/requirements to test planning, test design, and test execution. You already know black box - the next step is seeing how your test cases fit the bigger picture, and how they trace back to what the requirement or customer actually needs.
Once you join teamNokia, there's usually induction and training related to the role. Showing curiosity now already helps.
Good luck on your application! Feel free to send me a follow-up question - and ping me once you're in!
Best regards,
Casey
