Software Architect

Hello Prajith R.,

I started my early career at Nokia as an Integration & Verification Engineer, ensuring BTS software met international standards and customer requirements. This directly influenced the product by catching and fixing bugs in the early software development phase.

One of my early projects was when Nokia was integrating multiple technologies into one base station. Previously, one base station could only be deployed for one technology (for example, GSM or WCDMA only). I was part of the development that enabled different technologies (GSM, WCDMA, LTE, NR) on one base station while ensuring each technology would work smoothly.

Exposure to the software and hardware cycle, international standards, and customer needs helped me move into specification engineering and now as a software architect.

Best regards,

Casey Chua

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and insights Casey. Your experience about being part of team that affects different paradigms of software and hardware cycle, while maintaining international regulations, as well as satisfying customer needs is motivating. I hope I would work on real impactful projects like you did someday. Thank you.

sincerely,

Prajith.
