Hello Vikas, thank you for asking. Nowadays the process is different than a couple of years ago, as candidates have other interests, aspirations, and motivations. Technology has changed and the abilities and competencies you need to succeed changed too. Sometimes it takes more time to find the right person, and that´s also because we look for candidates who can grow with us and build a career path. I hope this solves your question! Regards,

Hi Vikas, good question!

Nokia recruits across a wide spectrum of roles, but as technology continues to evolve rapidly, sourcing specialized and niche talent in such a competitive landscape remains a major challenge. Hiring across different countries and regions adds another layer of complexity, especially when trying to match specific skill sets to local market needs.

Another critical aspect is going beyond the surface of a candidate’s CV. Sometimes, the ideal person is right there—but their resume doesn’t fully capture the depth of their capabilities. That’s why it’s so important to dig deeper into profiles and assess potential beyond just keywords and job titles.

Hope that helps and provides some insight!
