Hi Kshitij,

Thanks for reaching out on Insider—and that’s a great question. From my perspective, it really comes down to how a candidate translates their passion into the opportunities they have applied for, and how that reflects in interviews. Strong candidates clearly connect their background and experiences to the role, while helping us understand their thought process and genuine willingness to learn.

This can come through when discussing university work, projects, or during behavioral and situational questions. Learning agility is key—how they approach learning a new concept or technology, the quality of questions they ask about the team and the work, and their openness to mistakes as part of the learning process. We also look closely at how candidates explain how they think, not just the final outcome, as well as their collaboration mindset, which often comes through strongly in behavior-based assessment questions.

I hope this helps, and always here if you have any further questions!

Best wishes,

Rana
