Can you tell me more about the young talent program at Nokia?

Hi Almothana, thanks for asking about the young talent and early careers program at Nokia! One of the things I love about Nokia is the support they have for employees who are just starting out in their careers after college or university. First, Nokia has a very extensive internship and co-op program for students to take on part time roles at Nokia. While the program varies from location to location, often the co-ops and interns have lunch and learns, volunteer opportunities, and other special events just for the students to supplement their work. Then, for new grad full time employees, we have the NextGen program. The NextGen program connects new graduates at Nokia with other young professionals across the company through virtual learning and networking sessions. Additionally, some locations have NextGen ambassadors who help bring the NextGen community to the in person office through social, networking, and professional development events. For example, through the NextGen community I've gotten to sit in on Ask Me Anything events put on by employees from the Ottawa and Dallas offices despite being based out of Murray Hill. Additionally, I've also been able to meet and network with employees from different divisions of the company within Murray Hill that I probably would not have worked with otherwise.
