Depending on the open position and the degree you are taking from the university, the candidate will go through an interview.

Once accepted to join Nokia as an intern student (from a research and development engineering point of view), you will have a series of training about the technology and the way of working. The expectation is for you to learn and also contribute to the actual task as the regular engineers but with a buddy to support you with the given task. The environment should equip you for your career after university.

In addition, it's an advantage for you when you opt to join Nokia after the university.

I was part of a dual study program at Nokia Germany, where we had the opportunity to do internships in various departments across Nokia. As an intern, you get the chance to see how the teams work in the field, and the awesome part is that they take you along and help you wherever you need it.
