Hi Vansh, thank you for your great question! Nokia offers a high degree of flexibility in working arrangements, although specific policies can vary depending on the country. For example, in Finland—and likely in many other locations as well—employees benefit from flexible working hours and the option to work remotely, either fully or partially. This helps significantly reduce commuting time and supports a better work-life balance.

There are also different kinds of leaves available, either paid or unpaid. These vary again on the country in question. One good example in Finland is the partial child care leave: It means the employee works part-time to have more time to take care of her/his young child.

Nokia also has a new parental leave program. All employees, regardless of location or gender, are entitled to child leave. So, employees who become parents are offered at least 90 calendar days (three months) of paid leave, with the option to return to work up to one year after the birth or adoption of a child.

If you want to know about work-life balance in a specific country where Nokia operates, let me know, and I'll try to get more detailed information for you.
