How should I reach an interview?

I’m applying for internships, I’ve done a few internships and freelance earlier back in my home country and also I’ve a resume with ATS>75. Can you guide what exactly HR’s expect from an applicant. I’ve applied for more than 100 intern positions(software dev.) but have not got a single interview.
