It's highly recommended to tailor your CV/resume for each role you're applying for, as this allows you to highlight the most relevant skills and experiences that align with the specific job requirements. A generic one might not effectively showcase your strengths in relation to the role, which could reduce your chances of standing out to recruiters and hiring managers. Tailoring it shows that you’ve taken the time to understand the role and how you can add value to the company.

How valuable is it to highlight tailored soft skills in a CV, especially when it comes to showing versatility in working in both structured environments like Nokia and agile, fast-paced smaller companies?

It is valuable if you can back them up. For example, most people put in things such as "great team player" but everyone says that and from looking at your resume, how does the hiring team actually know you are a great team player? It is more beneficial to say things like "worked with a team of 4 members to deliver the project successfully and on time".
