Specifically in the domain that you mentioned; in addition to usual expectations like being enthusiastic, curious, team player, committed, high on integrity, etc.

We would expect Bachelor in Electronic Engineering or Embedded Systems – or Computer Science, demonstrable enthusiasm for embedded devices or equivalent through experience. Programming – C++, C mandatory, Java, and Python are also useful. Experience building solutions for embedded systems – a plus is with Cellular technology solutions. Knowledge of IoT devices, modems, AT commands, and Power Saving Techniques.
Knowledge of 3GPP IoT technologies such as NB-IoT, and LTE-M.
